As far as I can tell, the most streamlined of the ASCII-ish roguelikes. For those too young, too old, or too impatient for all of the minutae and complexity of games like Nethack and Caves of Qud, it offers all of the ASCII(-ish) dungeon crawling, potion quaffing and scroll identifying you could want, while keeping stats to a reasonable minimum.
Also, ASCII-ish has never look this good. Water and lava seem to shimmer as you traverse them. As you tiptoe over a sea of lava on a creaky wooden bridge, it actually achieves a feeling of depth, which is relatively unheard of for one of these games.
I think it's great.
