Right from the start: starting the game will open it up to the wrong resolution where it opens up to a tiny window. Half the time when starting a new game, every time when you alt+tab out.
Tutorial too boring to even finish. I made it one minute.
They insisted that every single fucking icon in the interface had to be pale blue. This makes it way more difficult to tell stuff apart than it should be, especially with all the monster's abilities being random glyphs.
Intro cutscene is a boring boring boring talking session that serves as nothing but a blatant ad for all the DLC characters.
They emphasize cutscenes and PC conversations much more than L4D, even forcing you to sit through talking intros, but it retains none of the humor.
Fuck me if I could figure out how you're supposed to catch up with the monster during the hunting phase. Splitting up? What good does discovering it do if you don't have the trapper with you?
Gameplay is split between boring pointless hunting phase and frantic what the fuck is going on combat with the monster.
Classes are too specialized and too similar at the same time. It feels like some chinese TF2 knockoff.
Every mode aside from Hunting is bullshit, and even Hunting isn't that fun.
It feels like you could only have fun with this if you played it with 4 friends, and even then you'd get bored with it in an afternoon. |
