And all of those games collectively have enough hours that I haven't exhausted them yet. The only one I've bought since is the Majora's Mask remake. I think it still holds up, but had I talked about it before I would have gushed over it more than I would now that I've revisited it.
I also have Pokémon X/Y, but I got that for free as part of some deal and haven't touched it. I've never played a Pokémon game, so I don't know if it's any good.
Oh wait, I forgot I bought Donkey Kong Returns. I think I reviewed it on here somewhere and it made me VERY ANGRY.
I've been told Etrian Odyssey, Persona, and Monster Hunter are good. I don't know anything about any of them. This post isn't turning out to be very helpful.
You probably know this, but make sure you get a New 3DS, don't buy some cheap used XL or something. The 3D with the new one is better because it tracks your eye so it stays in focus, and it has features that newer games might use that are not backwards compatible with old systems. Also, you may be surprised to learn that Nintendo's online store is halfway competent and you can buy all of the 3DS games (and a bunch of DS and virtual console games) through it so if you want a new game you don't have to go outside or talk to people ever again. Having said that, buy a MicroSD card. And a power adapter. The New 3DS doesn't come with a power adapter because why would it who would ever want to recharge a battery. |
