| I'm just glad Obama cares more about not making things a million times worse. He's already made the case very strongly for not pumping weapons in the country, and we've tried invading for stability before. Putin is a life-taker without remorse and while it's nice to have someone taking action on a humanitarian crisis, there's zero guarantee it's the right action.
Honestly this war has been going on for years now, and with one photo of a deceased toddler it's now the world's priority. If that's actually the case, as it feels like, and not just a coincidence, it's absolutely insane and really depressing. At first I actually thought that clip was video of one of the kids who died in the beach bombing in Gaza last year, nope different crisis sorry. It's weird living in the US where everyone around the world either blames you for not fixing their problems or are bloodthirsty with rage at you for trying to fix their problems. I do feel like staying out of Syria makes us look weak, the problem is that it's the right thing to do. |
