Charts by Dummies, for Dummies
A troll, who might be wearing a Che Guevara t-shirt while posting from his mom's basement, has been adding dozens of ridiculous items to my page. As you can see, I let nearly everything stand -- censorship on my page is uncommon.
I did answer this little "Che-chart", using uncommonly harsh language for me:
"Your little charts are for idiots. Japan and Korea do not want us to leave, Philippines wants us back, Europe depends on us, Turkey depends on us, Israel depends on us, the criminals in Saudi Arabia depend on us, the Kurds want more of us to come, many Syrians want us to fight their war for them. Nicaragua was a communist dump (yes, I was there), Poland, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Romania, and more, are free largely due to the United States. You are riding a hate horse and it makes you look uneducated..."
Let's take this a step more, and go down the list:
1) 1945-46 China -- Huh? They were praising us for knocking out Japan.
2) Korea, China: China went on to become the world's all time greatest mass-murderer, dwarfing even the Nazis. Korea? Huh? If not for American blood, South Korea would look like North Korea, who is China's little Korean lapdog and world scourge.
3) Guatemala -- Still a relative wasteland despite our giving them every opportunity.
4) Indonesia -- Huh? The US and Japan set Indonesia free from the Dutch. The Japanese started the independence movement, and we clinched it diplomatically. Today Indonesia has the largest Islamic population on earth, has good relations with the USA, and mostly is peaceful with scattered terrorism that has nothing to do with us, other than sometimes targeting westerners in general.
5) Cuba -- Cuba?! Cubans still are flooding to the United States because Cuba is Cuba, and communist, under the thumb of the rich Castros. Only a nut would add Cuba to the list. But then only a nut would add the other countries above to the list.
6) Congo -- Heart of Darkness. They still practice cannibalism down there. Best go ask the Belgians and some others for their opinions.
7) Peru -- Enumerate our evils, please.
8) Laos -- We screwed up there. That was shameful but also a product of the times and struggle against the cancer of communism.
9) Vietnam -- We screwed up, but also it was a product of the times and fight against communism.
10) Cambodia -- They did it to themselves. Not our doins'.
11) Grenada -- They were extremely happy that we rid their island of the harsh Cuban military presence. Only a nut would add Grenada to the list.
12) Lebanon -- We tried to stop them, but they killed themselves anyway.
13) El Salvador -- Communists were on the march, and they constantly threatened the United States. No apologies.
14) Nicaragua -- This must be a joke addition. They went full communist and were exporting trouble in our back yard. The country was a third world nightmare, a true 'Banana Republic' (communist edition), despite having every opportunity to lift up. No apologies.
15) Libya -- What is there to say? It's an Arab-islamic country prone to despotism and violence. They were exporting terrorism. No apologies.
16) Iran -- They still stone women to death for adultery...and threaten to wipe Israel off the face of the earth, and export more terrorism than dates. No apologies.
17) Panama -- Where would they be without us?
18) Iraq -- Some mistakes on our part, but Iraq is no innocent victim. Iraq was a criminal state and got what it had coming by its own hand. Iraq made Iraq what it is.
19) Somalia -- we should stop accepting Somalian refugees and start sending many of them home. Somalia is Somalia and is not a product of the United States.
20) Sudan -- So? Sudan is its own product.
21) Afghanistan -- We pumped in hundreds of billions of dollars. Many Afghans do not want us to leave. Afghanistan is a product of its own history and the US has spent much effort helping Afghanistan. I do like Afghans, though. I wish things were better.
Now let's add a few more countries:
Canada -- one of the safest countries on earth, in large part because we share much culture, and Canada has the US as a protective and prosperous neighbor. Canada can get away with a small defense budget because they know we will not attack them, and if someone attacks Canada it will be like attacking our family. We will be right on it.
Western Europe, many countries -- freed from the Nazi grip with great help from the United States, and guarded from the Soviet Union for generations mostly from expense from the United States.
UK -- very close partner.
Eastern Europe -- freed from communism and prosperous today, largely due to American efforts.
Australia -- Very close partner.
Japan -- lifted back to health after the terrible war, and now one of our greatest partners.
Philippines -- We freed our friends from the Spanish and did much good there (and some war crimes against filipinos). Finally Philippines tried to strong arm us for money and we removed our Navy, and now they want us back. Philippines is a friend despite some choppy seas for a short time.
Thailand -- After World War II, France and UK wanted to take big parts of Thailand, and we told them no. We defended Thailand. Most Thais do not know this. The US also helped defend Thailand and the Royal Family against communism. That was a serious fight that few people seem to realize. (But today we are supporting the bad guys in Thailand -- disgusting.)
India -- We helped rid India of British rule.
Pakistan -- Somehow we get along.
Bangladesh -- good cooperation. They are mostly positive toward USA, and also mostly Islamic.
South Africa -- We helped end white rule which seems to have caused many problems. Apparently they were better off under white rule, but that is so racist to say! (Best ask South Africans about that -- I never have been there and only heard the stories.)
Kuwait -- liberated from Iraq
In short, the US has a made massive blunders and continues to do so, but the US is not evil per se, and has brought far more good to the world than bad.
Michael Yon has forgotten more about the mid east and world history than everyone else here (aside from a couple of evil twins heh) has ever known, but then again we've never discarded the words and deeds of Michael Yon just because he's not a barkers moonbat (he's also not a republican, probably a surprise to everyone but me and Hissodge). |
