I frequent the BBS of a close friend and he's got some users that don't get the point of PC gaming, they're all about consoles. I'm going to talk an enormous amount of shit about them because they're not here. If you aren't planning on playing either Uncharted or The Last of Us (and I'm not planning on either) then there really is no point to the PS4 if you have a PC. Everything is wildly more expensive on the PS4. (In terms of cost. Not worth. VVVVVV costs $7.99 on the PS4. It's worth $50. It's a great game, love it to death. It's also been available on many Humble Bundles for like $2, and that includes other games.)

Perhaps it's better with new games. Might No. 9 seems to be $20 for a preorder on Steam and the Playstation 4. I'm not begruding indie developers getting more money on the console. I'm simultaneously happy they can charge more (I hope they get more? Maybe Sony takes a greater percentage than Steam) and amused at the extra price going through Sony.

I did see that NHL 15 is available, seemingly for download, for $19.99 for the next five days. I get to pretend to be Jack Eichel, so that's fine.

I'm also willing to believe that I simply don't have enough knowledge to be informed. I kind of like going back and reading the nonsense I write when I first get a console, though. So there's probably a few PS4 exclusives that are great games and up my alley and I just don't know about them. :)

(There is a newly-released game called "Arcade Land" which, as far as I can tell, is just a complete ripoff of Pac-Man, Arkanoid and others down to the brick structure in Arkanoid. I wasn't aware you could just completely and shamelessly rip off other games and get on the Playstation Store.)
