| At some point I feel I'll stop buying X-COM clones, they've all been terrible (except for Silent Storm and Xenonauts) and they find new and better ways to be terrible.
I bought XCOM2 on the strength of the reviews behind it. I started the tutorial and it has you begin play with pre-made characters. Okay, fair enough - I wanted to roll my own, though, so I exited the tutorial and started the real game. They give you four pre-made characters in the beginning of the real game as well. I don't know why I keep spending money on this shit, especially this particular iteration of a garbage franchise. It took me 2 terrible sequels to swear off Bioshock games, trying to keep it to just XCOM2 and not the inevitable 3, 4 and 5 would be nice. (Maybe the game's fine. The game's probably fine! But Jesus Christ.) ICJ |
