David Axelrod had an interview with Barney Frank and it's a fun listen even though Axelrod isn't the best interviewer. Frank gets a poke or two at Sanders but I thought the most interesting part was when he bitched about Newt Gingrich. He's respectful of Reagan, the left's favorite bogeyman, who at least was always civil to his political opponents. He traces a lot of the Republican problems to Gingrich who created the culture of stonewalling and extremism that still infests the Republican party. |
