I'm just going to come out and say it. Aside from its obvious nostalgia value, Star Wars (as a whole) wasn't great. It was passable and it had some great technical innovations, but I'd be embarrassed by the story and writing (if that was how I made a living and what I aspired to as my life's work). It has the tell-tale signs of a story that was made up along the way without a really cohesive vision from the beginning. I realize a great many people disagree.
How brave, guys! What a hero. Star Wars: it wasn't great! Passable, not great! You know this guy loves movies, because he's making a forced pun against Citizen Kane.
