I dunno, some people are saying it would have been advantageous to put this off until 2018, but I think the so-called 3D chess machinations are what lead to President Trump in the first place. It's what made the Clintons and their media contacts promote Trump in the primary. It lead to Clinton sticking with her old Tim Kaine pick for VP despite the progressive revolt in the party. It's why her campaign messaging was historically devoid of substance and all about PC outrage. The Coalition of the Ascendant and all its political moves that were seemingly stupid short-run but theoretically long-term brilliant.
Get Trump out before something bad happens that gives him an excuse....
