I'm being stubborn and trying to get a Windows 7 supported setup for my new computer (can always upgrade to 10 in two years) and it's a bitch finding a new mobo that fits and isn't completely overpriced.

Anyone have any experience with refurbished boards? Is it stupid to even ask in this age of cryptocurrency mining?

Alternatively, does anyone have any experience with ASRock?

Ages ago I got a refurb board and the AGP video slot was dead. So I bought a PCI card. Not great but it was cheap.

Two years ago I bought another refurb board and it was perfectly good and still running in one of my PCs. I'm not sure this is helpful in any way, but there you go.
