| No one likes endgame, no one likes Kirin, the only point of the game past a certain point is grinding gear to do fights that are essentially no different than the ones you originally fought. The game levels up monsters twice on you, first is high rank and then is tempered. High rank has some neat exclusive monsters and then tempered doesn't have any new ones. At some point they'll release a DLC for G rank and it'll be the same thing.
Given that right now it's just a lobby based grinding game your best bet is just to rent it until you get bored of it, because once you get tired of it you'll never want to play it again. Of course you'll get tired of it because who can stand that many loops of being overpowered then underpowered then overpowered again? The game doesn't even really encourage social interaction, it's such a classic lobby game in that way. You either go in and beat the shit out of the monster or you waste your time, there's no inbetween. Some of the most fun you'll have is playing solo. Hanging on to the game for some trickle of outfits and DLC monsters is just pointless. |
