The biggest problem we have with religion is when it gets power. Religions that have power have always become human-rights violating monsters who destroy free thought and free exprssion, as well as scientific progress.
This is clearly and explicitly shown in the actions of Islam and those who operate under its banner, like ISIS.
Religions only become polite and respectful of the rights of individuals when those religions have been defanged and declawed, when they were forced to behave. |
