| THE WISH: Serpent in the Staglands. God, I wish I could sit down, shut off all distractions and enjoy this thing, this RPG I have been waiting for since Ultima 7.
THE REALITY: NBA Playgrounds, a dumb and silly 2 on 2 hoops game with dopamine shots of "player packs" where you get access to different players if you play long enough. 
It was $2.50 when I bought it. It's not as good as NBA Jam in a lot of ways but I have to give it a thumbs up because each game is quick, they do things like put the controls on the screen which I love and the art direction is cartoony but distinct. |
