Nothing is very much fun...anymore by skippy 07/09/2018, 10:53am PDT Lovable, laughable nihilism is dead. Long live the age of caring. Everyone is angry and nobody laughs at the craziness of the world. It's all so serious. I heard about a truck load of immigrants that got cooked in a trailer in the desert so I quipped, "I didn't know they brought back the Meximelt?" The response was full of indignation that I wasn't aware that the newly overcooked people were not Mexicans but in fact Central Americans. Usenet was fun. 90'sand 00's message boards were fun. I'd hang out on one board then move on to another with a different focus just to keep things fresh. Even through all the disagreements it was all enjoyable because what we wrote or said really didn't matter. Now everyone takes it all so seriously. What you have now are a few echo chambers and millions of people keeping their real thoughts quiet. Playing troll tag without anger on boards is a lost pastime. skippy Speaking from experience as a jizz mopper, the longer things get bottled up the bigger the mess. The corks has been on tight for a long time now.
