I'm not sure about this damn Prey, I can see why people loved it but I just kept being this faggot, kept thinking of Fabio over and over. I had a wrench, see, that's where it started but if that wasn't bad enough it asked me if I wanted degrading weapons first before that--sweet Christ and Fabio save me, I knew what I was in for. I enjoyed the enemies, they could be kind of scary, especially that Nightmare fucker. I got rid of it by hiding out the timer first time, and could play a while, then it was back later and I somehow finally killed the big old fucker, not sure how because I never had enough ammo. Always collecting junk, and you haul it to these stations to break down into mats for making ammo. Never enough never fucking enough ammo in this game. That's to make it scary some shit? I could only handle this game in bursts, clicking empty fucking guns getting me killed. Finally realized I probably installed the wrong game. That Dishonored always gave you more than enough ammo and bombs and traps, I remembered that. I hated how it made me feel guilty for actually using any of it but at least I had it: so fuck Prey.
OK I really don't know that much about this Dishonored 2. I played the first one and the first DLC, and I guess that's too bad because the second DLC sets up this game, I read that much. O well. I know you pick one of two characters with unique powers, game doesn't tell you what these powers are and I didn't read up so I have no idea. It doesn't matter, because once the story started I knew I wouldn't be playing Emily. It had to be Corvo, because the one thing I hadn't heard or read anywhere was that this Corvo character is actually also Garret from Thief! Same guy, still even has his Mechanical eye. Holy Crap! No question who I'm playing in this game. Somebody else tried making a Thief game and it had some young hip dude with an ear ring with some factory new cosplay armor on with polished snaps and buckles, and some girl all decked out in the same shit from the same hipster place, and she overacts along with him, both of them in too much fucking eye liner and neither one of them sounding anything like Garret, all of it pretty much horrible and so terrible I remember not getting very far. But now here he is! It's like Garret went on to do the stuff in Dishonored, and now he's back to save his daughter in a new game engine and nobody told me. |
