But I'd point out that there was plenty of exposition in the episodes, it's just doled out slowly, the way writers keep saying is the way to do it: without expository speeches. The belief is that audiences find it boring. Whether or not that's true, I was catching on just fine I feel like, and I bet this stuff is all in there somewhere.
