| Unfortunately things are horribly incestuous with officials and investors or regulators and industry completely interchangeable.
It is difficult to 'remove' money from governance as it risks increasing attractiveness of lobbyist offers (which is more complex than just a cartoony bail of cash). There seems to be no silver bullet to decrease the underlying problems. I still can't trust anybody who becomes a multi-millionaire while in office. |
