Sadie died last week.
She was kind of a neurotic mess, but she was smart and gentle and would clean up whatever I spilled before the wife could notice. Everyones's exhausted from quarantine, stressed about the start of the school year, the oldest just graduated high school so the wife's already emotionally fragile...and when we saw the end coming, she convinced me to do something I'm not proud of.
Senior grad gift. Anyway, she was a good girl.
