Preface: I haven't beaten it yet.

But I really like it! Though I've always been a huge fan of Remedy shooters.

What can I say about it? Well, the combat is great to start. All the weapons- which are really all different forms of the same gun -feel punchy and strong and there are nice visual effects that accompany kills and headshots (this semi-translucent almost-rainbow colored gas fills the air, it's really cool). As you progress through the story you'll face crafted combat encounters, but you'll also be opening up more and more of the big weird government building that serves as the game world, and these new areas can become combat zones for encounters that are more randomly generated as you backtrack and explore, which you may find yourself doing because this game is kind of a Metroidvania. This randomness is fine, but sometimes I'm like: "Control, why are you throwing wave after wave of only suicide bomber enemies at me? Change it up for fucks' sake."

Environment is great, the building is great, and you make a total fucking mess of the place as you start tearing chunks out of the walls and throwing around desks and fire extinguishers with your telekinetic powers. Yeah, there's also a wide assortment of supernatural powers that the main girl masters as the game goes on, they're all pretty cool and fun to use and well rendered in the game. Grab stuff and throw it at the enemies to kill them easily. Grab and throw their own launched rockets and grenades back at them. Grab and throw their own fucking friends back at them. Rip parts of the environment out to form a shield around you. It's all really cool.

Sounding fun? I don't usually write this sort of shit but if you have any specific questions about the game I might be able to answer them.
