Never cared too much for the super sweet cereals, but Cinnamon Toast Crunch was alright.

Yeah, the ol "you're on salary so no hourly OT payout". Even smaller studios would do that too.
EA's copy/paste games would usually give 3-4 months off between full production, but I imagine they've found new ways to cut corners in the last two decades.
Game journos are creating controversy here because most of them are repugnant but no, this is not what crunch is. This is meeting a fucking deadline and getting compensated for it. Good point. Another "Controversy Creates Ca$h" clickbait strat. |
