| SMT on benefits 6 core and smaller AMD cpus, with the possible exception of the 5600. This is what they are enabling SMT for in the patch.
HOWEVER, smt *also* benefits older generation 8 core AMD cpus. CDPR, just add an auto/on/off switch for SMT. Nobody should have to hex edit a binary to turn SMT on. -/ES/- |
