I encountered this last night - doing the mission for Kirk after the intro. There was a crime in progress and I have had good luck just using the katana to murder people committing street crimes. Suddenly 5 guys worked as a team and could one shot me.

It's fine...... I need to think about my style of play I guess... I dunno. There was nothing about them that screamed that they were overpowered. If I do kill one and get their weapon, I have doubts that it will be as powerful for me.

- Cars/vehicles. Someone at a meeting said "We have to have 1st person driving, can't just have it auto-drive people to locations" and suddenly the game was delayed 6 months and oh look you have to work 6 days a week. Meanwhile the cars are on PS1-era programming, they all drive in circuits, and have absolutely no capacity for independent thought or driving away from threatening situations, etc.

I'm trying to not let the cars bother me. Everything you said it correct so I am trying to just remember that it's not going to be as good as GTA and just sort of live with it. :/
