Like SimCity Online in a way, but without any of that high-handed civic-minded bullshit. Here, your only goal is to ruin your neighbors. I've been playing it for a couple of weeks now (Beta supposedly ends Jan31) and I have to say I'm impressed with the levels of intricacy and the steep learning curve. It's also an incredibly fluid game as the only economic forces (other than end-consumers) are other players. One warning though, the interface is a bit clunky. They tried to integrate a web explorer into the game which means every time you open a menu, the game dls that menu from the server. But don't let the ugliness put you off. Remember, it's often this sort of logistical naivete that belies the dedicated work of some true nerds. |
