My (worthless) cyberganked early alpha feedback by Mischief Maker 10/22/2021, 8:32am PDT I'm sorry, ICJ, I am not the one you want feedback from. I love the writing and the visual style of your games, but this text game interface is the bane of my existence. I always hit a brick wall embarrassingly early with your games. I got as far as entering the gun store, got a prompt to talk to the guy, got a numbered list of party members who could talk, but I hit 4 different numbers and each one got me "nobody has anything to say" or something like that. My feedback is that from Zork to modern day, I always sucked at text adventures. Sorry I couldn't be more help. -MM PS. There is one exception. The only text adventure my simple monkey brain was able to play and enjoy is "Sanctuary RPG: Black Edition." It's pretty cheap nowadays, maybe take a peek at that one for some ideas? The big thing is every available command is a single key and clearly displayed when available:
