I did think of one 2021 game - Wildermyth was great and I'll be playing a few more scenarios soon!
New theory... covid was:
- Bad for giant AAA games because remote collaboration is hard with these huge complicated titles?
- Good for indies because people had nothing to do but stay home and focus?
I didn't get as much done on my indie game in 2020 because of COVID. I put my indie game hours into my day job (plus the hours I got back from my former commute) because I was paranoid about not having a job during the worst of the pandemic.
Because the market is so good right now I've tried re-allotting them back to where they were. But this is an interesting question, what kind of progress was made on what games in all of this.
