Korg Minilogue xd and Ableton Live by Ice Cream Jonsey 03/26/2022, 9:37pm PDT Did you know that if you try to drag a font from a ZIP file into Windows 10's "Drag Fonts Here" area, it will cause Windows' "Drag Fonts Here" area to crash? I learned that tonight trying to have the "Korg Minilogue xd Sound Librarian" to work. What? I knew that hooking up this synthesizer and using it in Ableton was going to be a nightmare so I was not frustrated by that. I have a font called "Bius Titel" on my computer. It is the Polybius font. I use it all the time. When I started the "Sound Librarian" it decided to display everything using that font. This might be the dumbest, sloppiest bug I have ever seen in my life. Look at this! And it's confirmed as an issue here. I got off lucky, the guy on that Reddit post has a font that can only display rectangles. How on earth does any music ever get made. When I work on arcade games, there are definitely times where I am like, "don't screw with it, it's working now. Leave it alone." As opposed to a PC, where I know enough to disassemble it and put it back together. I feel like I'm going to have a similar attitude if I can reach a spot where music recorded through the synths in Ableton. It will all go away if I move.
