There IS a bug where the Minilogue can't be seen by Ableton, I think if the Minilogue turns itself off and Ableton is attached, there is a 50/50 shot that I have to reboot. That killed me, because I would leave it on when it was my only synthesizer. Like, still a bug, still happens, will never get fixed because God Forbid the two companies talk to each other or do a test where they leave it on and untouched for 2 hours, but still. It was unfortunate that I encountered it when I was trying to figure out how to get stuff to work.

But it's insane when I re-read this thread, how much I have learned. I have made a bunch of little songs in the last 4 months. I did the thing where I happily sold off a bunch of stuff from previous obsessions and hobbies to fund the new one. Getting Eurorack modules in the mail has been a real delight.

I used Cursor to prompt-up a simple Electron app that throws chords to a synthesizer over MIDI by pressing the root key and kind of chord on a visual representation of a piano, so I can hear what they might sound like before I learn them and start playing. I have also had piano lessons since January. This - making music, playing correctly, Eurorack and other synth and Ableton - has become the thing that has taken over my life.
