At work they want you to still login using a password every week. (I'm letting go of the fact that I have to enter my SSO password 10-20 times a day. If it's single sign-on, why the fuck am I constantly typing it, etc.)
I am sure it's a corp IT setting, so with TouchID, it's the ultimate in stupid paranoia and every time I am told I can't use TouchID to open the Mac that I keep exclusively at home I think to myself, well, maybe my fingerprints DID change.
Everything about computers in 2022 is stupid and awkward.
