He enjoys being able to inflict cruelty, he enjoys cruelty towards the player. He has a great understanding and appreciation of it. I wouldn't even call the games he likes hardcore. They're just mean. I also assume he is making hundred thousandairs out of the developers of the games he reviews, which is a nice side effect. I certainly will be buying this one.
