My son, who was 5 or 6 at the time, became obsessed with Froakie and was deeply, deeply upset when he accidentally learned a move that replaced Bubble, which was apparently a sentimental favorite.
Pokemon was also how I convinced him to learn to read, he wanted to play the card game but he realized he wouldn't be able to compete if his opponents had to read his cards for him.
I am currently trying to convince him to learn to drive, maybe Pokemon could help out here as well. ???? What's Froakie up to these days, is he in his Frogadier era? |
