virgil is a poorly voiced bore, go ahead and delete or all his voice files or replace them with daffy duck quacks if you want to bother as far as I'm concerned, would have improved my experience
there are also sites where they post arcanum mods and fixes that are ok for getting more blood out of this stone, if they're still online. gamefaqs and gamebanshee walkthrough recommended to save this game's dogmeat. cheats recommended to get more largely useless followers. not remembering a lot of clarity about which guns are more powerful and so forth, usually came down to action points/attacks per round
after a while I got all the magic and steam options I wanted and the gane reduced down to victorian perversion plots, british imperialism not deserving blowback from people they conquered, and more largely pointless dungeons
def wasn't impressed that the team at troika wrote the end confrontation with the big bad the way they did given their previous work, but some acts are hard to follow |
