| ...it's grown on me a fair bit. The combat's solid. Progression is fine. Savescumming is not required even if I want to do it because you can reskill a character in a couple missions, but as more of the map gets demon-haunted this may prove less viable.
Honestly any game that gives me a single-action pistol that can chamber buckshot and then let me load it with dragon's breath rounds is pretty good, and possibly viable in terms of prioritizing bullet economy over endless logistics strain if I can play the half-baked pistol specialist merc you only get like midgame and have to minmax to sustain any viability for. Why? Because if I succeed, I get to play an exorcist that carries the kind of handgun that belongs in 40K video games somewhere between Space Hulk and Necromunda, but those barely exist so I can play this instead. |
