Like the guy above said, there is a lot of code that is pretty much a solved problem. There is also a lot of syntax that people don't have memorized. Maybe you know all of this! Then great, you understand. AI tools are great at just getting the syntax in the IDE so the developer can do other things. It makes an effective person more effective in the same way that auto complete for an IDE did, or version control or whatever else. These are good things that help developers and a good manager would want their people to have access to this.
You're going to hear all the horror stories, all the "vibe code" nonsense. It's funny! Enjoy them with us.
Actually, after reading the title of your post again, I actually kind of hate you because you have a unique self-assurance and confidence, even though you're a dumb fucking asshole about everything.
