These lists really need to be divided into "best right now" and most important historically. I think it was Fussbett who said otherwise every list is just going to be Super Mario 1 and Zelda. Halo is neither. It was Quake for console players: a decent enough FPS that was first to be playable over the internet by a large number of strangers, but not something that most would want to play today. Who the fuck calls Halo a must play PC game in 2025? Starcraft 1 and the entire C&C collection both have remastered versions on sale right now. How the fuck does a Halo bundle beat them out? Starcraft is right there next to Diablo II: Resurrected in the battle.net store.
