| The stupidest thing I saw about Shough was idiots saying he was "26" or 27 or 30 or 50. Herpy derpy. Yeah, COVID-19 messed up a lot of college trajectories. Yeah, the transfer portal meant guys could move around. I loved that he beat Bryce Young. Bryce is 24, shouldn't he have dominated???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? I mean, I am pretty sure from what I read that the Panthers were going to get an extra 40 points just added to their score because their QB, a failure (well, he looked good last week) was younger. Which is why Mahomes didn't win anything until he turned 38. God, the fan narrative around football is awful. This is the only place I talk football any more.
Anyway, we have a QB that looks like a thin Thor running around and escaping pressure and playing to win, not lose. It's one game, but this is the most excited I've been for the Saints since Brees retired. |
