| I mean... did anyone have WORSE customer service than Radioshack? Their employees actively impeded your efforts to buy anything by asking you to fill out that stupid form with your phone number and information on it. And trying to sell you batteries and cell phones.
Fry's employees were on commission which meant they often pushed you towards expensive things that you didn't need. But some of them were all right, probably. You have to keep in mind that we were megadorks who DEFINITELY didn't want to be told how many ISA slots we needed! One thing I liked about Fry's is that they didn't charge $20 for a fucking VGA cable or USB dongle. Which the remaining retail outlets do every single time. No, I don't care if it's gold-plated! Grr. |
