| There aren't exclusives any more. I used to be able to at least say, "I want to see Silent Hill on the original hardware." Graphics (for me) haven't gotten better since Detroit: Become Human, which Steam says came out in 2020. So that is 7 years of nothing. Having a Blu-Ray player in the house doesn't matter because I stream or use Plex for stuff. Everything otherwise plays better on a PC.
Sony should be THRILLED I gave them six bucks to have Qix on my PS4. They should be jerking each other off that they got free money that I did that. That wasn't enough for the greedy shits; they feel entitled to me rebuying all my digital games if I get busy and don't have the machine on for four weeks. The "leaked" (meaning: absolutely did not leak) lies later this morning about how this was an accident. It wasn't an accident, they just wanted to lie to everyone about this because people are collectively dragging them. You don't "accidentally" create UI for displaying this, they absolutely intended for it to go out, if not now then at some point. It's tiring to see multi-billion dollar corporations act like pigs, where getting my money once is not enough. Rather than just make good games at affordable prices, these companies are doing constant layoffs and think we're going to pay two or three times for our digital games if we get busy. I have been mostly off getting anything from Steam for pretty much the same reasons (I had a middleware snafu when Chet killed evilemail that fucked me out of some games). Any other industry but software, you'd get your ass kicked for trying this stuff. But yes. You are correct. MM was proven correct. For me, there is no longer any reason to ever buy a console again. There are 10 of them that I can see in the room I'm typing this in. Way to kill the golden goose. |
