| I think Newsom's position as the establishment choice actually works against him, given how the primaries are going.
The fact that people freaked out so hard at Hasan Piker saying he'd rather vote 3rd party than Newsom on some random podcast shows that the establishment doesn't have any faith in Newsom at this point either. I don't think the question to ask yourself right now is whether X dem candidate could beat JD Vance in '28. It's whether your candidate could beat Tucker Carlson. |
