People who permanently wear face masks to the point that there are now double digits people at my work and meetup groups that I still don't know what their face looks like. If you're still paranoid about Long COVID at this point, just give up on in-person human interaction for good. Only wear them on trains? Understandable. At your job to earn a living? You're still a paranoid doofus, but fine. For social get togethers? You're an asshole. Just stay home, asshole.
The hugest assholes though are the permanent maskers who always wear one, but pulled down for an exposed nose or mouth. The autistic asshole who's clueless about what that is saying to everyone: "I might be sick, but I'm perfectly willing to breath on all of you!" Why not just take the damn thing off? At the very least, it's fucking filthy to look at. Like waving around a dangling dirty band-aid in front of everyone. Legit sick person giving zero fucks for others, or disgusting mess who tapes a used handkerchief to their jaw and is fine with forcing everyone to stare at it. Both assholes.
I'm now constantly running into people who attend multi-hour events with masks pulled down their chins. What the fuck is the thought process for these untouchables? |
