Two things:
First: It's not very good. There's little to do outside of jump onto ceilings and throwing bottles. I'm sure the full game will be much more fabulous.
Second: It runs like shit on my computer. And I have an Athlon XP 1900 with 512 megs ddram and a GeForce TI 4400. I can barely run it in 640x480. WTF?

You can throw bottles??? SWEET!!!1! I guess the game is more appealing to the stealth-nut types who liked MGS and Tenchu. I totally dig it myself, try playing it without being spotted or firing a single shot. It ain't easy, and doing so isn't just self-flatuation; it's what the devs had in mind as a genuine gameplay element. Be one with the shadows, Fisher.
I had almost identical specs on my system when I first played the demo, only I had an XP1800+, and it ran just dandy in 800x600, max detail. Who knows, make sure you aren't running any other programs in the background. Also, try defragiing your hard drive if you haven't recently. Lastly, try disabling V-sync on your GeForce and maybe turn off AA or anistropic filtering if they're turned on. |
