The average citizen up here is pretty bright by Steve Lollerson 02/17/2003, 10:19pm PST
When I moved to Seattle from NY there was a big fuss about how a few-hundred-person march in Seattle protesting police stupidity (no shit) was the root cause of police tear-gassing a group of thirty completely uninvolved people who were walking in the opposite direction on the other side of the street.

The average citizen up here is pretty bright I've found just by talking to a lot of random people on the lonely hour-and-a-half busrides to the rat's vet. For some reason this does NOT extend to the jack-booted thugs.

Hey, do you think you could possibly turn this thread around and start bragging about the mental agility of the those in the northern coastal states vs those who live in the south? If possible, please work work this into a Chomsky-esque rant about how the Vast Right-Wing Consipiracy is responsible for you not being able to find a vet for your filthy little proxy-French pets within 90 minutes of your house.
