I don't have the level of love or respect that Erik or Tom have, but I can say that Dark Cloud 2 is the best PS2 game. I loved Kingdom Hearts and GTA3, but this blows them both away. I think Tom Chick said it best :
"Dark Cloud 2 offers moments like the one described above that make you feel like you don't really need to play other games ever again. This one will do just fine, thank you very much. Vice City, Metroid Prime, Breath of Fire V, Age of Mythology, Morrowind? You're all excused now; we're going to be busy here for a very long time."
