They didn't really release an update, as far as I know. But I ran into a friend of mine that I hadn't seen in a while and he had this to say (he's been playing the game since 2001 and recently gave up on it):
"The game should be called "Spawn Camper". That's all anyone does anymore. They made each spawn point have lots of exits, so you at least have a chance, though."
"They added a layer of strategy on it that essentially limits resources in certain areas of the map. So when you, say, drive a tank over a cliff or on a suicide mission into enemy lines, they get kinda testy. One admin was like, 'HEY! You're wasting resources!' I ignored him. Later he came back and said, 'Okay, I see you've been playing since 2001 so you're not an ignorant newb. SO STOP WASTING RESOURCES!' etc. What can I say, I was bored." |
