| This would have been perfect for the Game Boy Advance, especially when you consider that both titles are pretty much direct ports of the handheld Wonderswan Color versions. (Pics: 1, 2) The new content amounts to the opening FMVs and possibly the redone music.
Square's entire Final Fantasy remake project seems to be a fuck you to Nintendo. "Hmmm, we've got a catalog of old games that would be perfect for Nintendo's current handheld system. Why not port them to Sony's ancient console hardware?" I bought the damn thing for some reason and I doubt it's going to hold my interest even as a time-waster once the novelty effect wears off. |
