When I think matrix videogame, I think neato kungfu and gun fights. I DONT think "rad car chases!". The closest cars got to being part of the matrix universe was the rotating bullet time bus explosion in Swordfish, and the less said about that the better.


Usually a game that tries to do too much fails in at least one of those parts. Kind of how like I hated Vice City for trying to move away from the cars and become a 3rd person shooter and sniping sim.


What I was thinking was a wide open mission-driven enviroment with no load times and better then passible graphics. That with the Matrix story line would have been a pretty fun game, EtM was not. I agree that the driving aspects are superfluous.

So maybe I'll play it another hour or so, though I really don't have high hopes for a wicked fun Matrix experience based on my first hour.

Rise of Nations is the shit btw, though I am that kind of dork.
