I haven't but I'm intrigued, from the text I wonder if it shares traits with sweet Gewürztraminers or late harvest Rieslings.

I'm going to try and get some of this in from the same guy I keeping harrassing about obtaining some Effen Vodka which is the best I have ever had and no one has heard of.


I guess icewine is sort of like a dessert wine like Gewürztraminer. I've only had it in the context of that Martini, but it's definitely sweet. And expensive, comparitively, because of the extremely low yield of grapes per vine that have been frozen/thawed correctly, or however it's done. If you do grab some, let me know what you think. And in exchange I will look for the Effen.
