It's like a space ship third person shooter, where you go around getting jobs from people on planets. The single player plot involves some shit about alien artifacts, but apparently you can (if you want) just blow it off and take freelance missions for like a billion organizations, like trading companies, revolutionaries, police forces, pirates. There's lots of flying and taking the "highways in space" and shit, going into cruise mode, and then trying to get enough money to buy a better ship or thruster or weapons turret to slap onto your ship. When you finish the single player, your last objective is "find a job." NO JUST LIKE REAL LIFE. At this point it's really just freeing you up to go anywhere and start doing missions for anyone, but once the plot is over, you'll probably have to really force yourself to go out and do shit. There are a few better ships out there for you to buy and so on, but I don't know if there's anything bigger or meaner to blow up. You might want to tell one of your revolutionary pals in the single player game that "sorry, I just can't do it now" and go freelancing, start buying lots of big shit.
So overall it's nice. |
