I like the fact that the face of the website is very shrill and gay and I can't think of any other one offhand that is so brazenly purple. Additionally, there's an excellent chance that one of you would passionately despise the random person dropping by the front page anyway, so it sort of allows first-strike capability without having to actually get involved.

However, for the area where people might actually spend a lot of time, a soothing blue is relaxing, comforting and oh-so achingly easy on the eyes. My blood pressure drops about ten points or beats or whatever the system of measurement is for blood pressure just by looking at it.
