I think that class was intended for women to play or something by Senor Barborito 07/16/2003, 6:50am PDT The amount of sexism inherent in the role tossed to women is probably directly proporational to the percentage of male developers on the game, hint hint. Seriously, I worry about the fact that the game FORCES me to make contact with the sort of people who would actually consider making their ONE CHARACTER FOR THE SERVER a dancer. The only possible explanation I can come up with is that these people are among the increasing number buying multiple copies of the game and maintaining multiple accounts (two mules, one 'real', usually) to the tune of $45/month in order to have multiple characters on a server in order to better serve their guild. Personally? Fuck that shit. I can be a completely maxed-out master architect and master sniper 'rifleman' without much difficulty with just one character, and that's exactly what I'll do. I have to admit it's tempting to buy a second account just so I can have the architect dump tons of resources at a new Master Armorsmith/Weaponsmith artisan. Yes, crafting is THAT good in this game once you start getting into the 'experimental' aspect of object creation and start writing out little 'experimental value potential' matrices for the 100 different resources - or 'aggregate steel mining' matrices based on your surveying results during all the spare time you have actually mining to build your first auto-miners. Oh God I'm in Hell . . . a wonderful, beautiful Hell. As Matt from MacHall observed when I told him all about it in excruciating detail - it's like they made doing your taxes . . . FUN. --SB
